IF YOU are one of the flower power generation or just love the groove from back in the day, then Late for Woodstock will give you a fun-filled flashback to the ’60s and ’70s.
Late For Woodstock embraces the songs, artists and lifestyle of music’s most popular and enduring era, and continues on this legacy of peace, love and the brotherhood of man.
Unlike the majority of bands on the covers/tribute circuit, Late for Woodstock don’t just play the music – they live it. The music runs in their blood, fuelling their passion to faithfully recreate some of the most popular songs ever written.
The four piece line-up features rhythm and lead guitars, harmonica, bass and drums with four part harmonies. The players, who all grew up in the ’60s and “turned on” in the ’70s, are experienced musicians who simply love the music.
With the motto “tune in, turn on and rock out”, Late for Woodstock attract a loyal following and even the very young have discovered the beauty and raw authenticity of their music.
Having no shortage of classic covers and artists to choose from, Late for Woodstock makes a connection with an audience that now spans three generations. From laid-back acoustic songs to full-on electric rock, the music captures an era that allows for such freedom and invites you to come along for the ride.
